Back-To-School Outreach Program
On June 4 and 5, 2025, The LAB Project teamed up with 36 volunteers from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) to hold a two-day back-to-school event at Jacinto Zamora Elementary School in Manila, Philippines. We worked with kindergarten and first-grade kids to give them supplies and skills for a great start to the school year. The event created a fun and friendly space to get the children excited about learning.
We showed the kids how to wash their hands properly using portable hand-washing stations. They joined in eagerly, learning why keeping clean is important in a fun way. Each child also got a strong school bag filled with supplies like notebooks, pencils, erasers, and tumblers to help them do well in school.
This event worked out so well because of the kind donations and support from our community. The kids’ happy faces as they got their supplies and joined the activities showed how much this meant to them. The LAB Project is very thankful to everyone who helped and can’t wait to keep making a difference with more projects.
